TROPARION OF THE RESURRECTION IN TONE 2
When thou didst submit thyself unto death, O immortal life, then thou didst destroy Hades by the brightness of thy Divinity. And when thou didst raise the dead from the underworld, then all the powers of heaven did cry aloud unto thee O Christ, O our God, thou giver of life! Glory to thee.

عندما انحدرت إلى الموت, أيها الحياةُ الذي لا يموت, حينئذ أمتّ الجحيمَ ببرقِ لاهوتِك, وعندما أقمتَ الأمواتَ من تحتِ الثرى, صرخَ نحوك جميعُ القواتِ السماويين أيها المسيحُ الإلهُ المعطي الحياة, المجدُ لك.
TROPARION OF THE THEOTOKOS TONE 8
O Ever-virgin Theotokos, shelter of the people, you granted your robe and zone to your city as a mighty garment of your pure body. They remained imperishable by giving birth without seed. Through you both nature and time are made new. Wherefore, we implore you to grant your city peace and our souls, great mercy.

يا والدة الإله، إنَّ زنارَكَ المُوقَّر، المُحِيطَ بأحشائكِ هو قوةٌ لرعيتِك لا تُقْهَرُ، وَكَنْزٌ لكلٍّ صلاحٍ لا ينفدُ، أيتها الأم الدائمة البتولية.

THE EPISTLE
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has looked with favor on the lowliness of His servant (Luke 1:46 47). The reading from Saint Paul's letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 9: 1-7) Brethren, now even the first covenant had regulations for divine service and an earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lamp stand, the table, and the bread of the Presence, this is called the Holy Place; and behind the second curtain, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies, which had the golden altar and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance.
الرسالة تعظم الربَّ نفسي وتبتهجُ روحي باللهِ مخلّصي, لأنّه نظرَ إلى تواضعِ أَمَتِه فصلٌ من رسالةِ القديسِ بولسَ الرسولِ إلى العبرانيين يا أخوةُ, إنّ العهدَ الجديدَ كانت له شعائرُ العبادةِ والقدسُ الأرضيّ. فقد نُصِبَت هناك المِظَلّةُ الأولى التي يُقال لها القُدس, وفيها المنارةُ والمائدةُ وخبزُ القربان. وكان وراءَ الحجابِ المِظَلّةُ التي يُقَال لها قدسُ الأقداسِ, وفيها المبخرةُ الذهبيةُ وتابوتُ العهدِ وكلّه مُغَشّى بالذهبِ, وفيه وعاءٌ ذهبيٌ يحتوي المنّ وعصا هارون التي أَوْرَقت ولوَحَي وصايا العهد. وكان فوقَ التابوتِ كِرُوبا المجدِ يُظَلّلان غطاءَ الكفّارة. وليس هنا مجالٌ للكلامِ على كلّ هذا بالتفصيلِ. كان كلّ شيءٍ على هذا الترتيبِ, فيدخلُ الكهنةُ إلى المِظَلّةِ الأولى كلّ حينٍ ويقومون بشعائرِ العبادة. ولكنّ رئيسَ الكهنةِ وحدَه يدخلُ الى المِظَلّةِ الثانيةِ مرةً في السنةِ, ولا يدخلُها إلا ومعه الدمُ الذي يُقدّمُه كفارةً لخطاياه وللخطايا التي ارتكَبَها الشعبُ عن جهلٍ منهم.
THE GOSPE The reading is from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew (18: 23 35) The Lord spoke this parable: "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants. When he began the reckoning, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents; and as he could not pay, his lord ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.' And out of pity for him the Lord of that servant released him and forgave him the debt. But that same servant, as he went out, came upon one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and seizing him by the throat he said, 'Pay what you owe.' So his fellow servant fell down and besought him. 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you.' He refused and went and put him in prison till he should pay the debt. When his fellow servant saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their lord all that had taken place! Then his lord summoned him and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you besought me; and should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?' And in anger his lord delivered him to the jailers, till he should pay all his debt. So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart."
الإنجيــــل فصلٌ شريفٌ من بشارةِ القديسِ متى b قال الرب هذا المثل: يشبه ملكوت الله ملكا أراد أن يحاسب عبيده. فلما شرع في محاسبتهم, جيء إليه بواحد عليه عشرة آلاف درهم من الفضة. ولم يكن عنده ما يوفي, فأمر سيده أن يباع هو وامرأته وأولاده وجميع ما يملك حتى يوفيه دينه. فجثا له العبد ساجدا وقال: "أمهلني يا سيدي فأوفيك كل ما لك علي!" فأشفق عليه سيده وأطلقه وأعفاه من الدين. ولما خرج الرجل لقي عبدا من أصحابه كان له عليه مائة دينار, فأخذ بعنقه يخنقه وهو يقول له: "أوفني ما لي عليك!" فجثا صاحبه يرجوه ويقول: "أمهلني, فأوفيك." فلم يشأ, بل أخذه وألقاه في السجن حتى يوفيه الدين. ورأى العبيد أصحابه ما جرى فاستاؤوا كثيرا وذهبوا وأخبروا سيدهم بكل ما جرى. فدعاه سيده وقال له: "أيها العبد الشرير! أعفيتك من دينك كله, لأنك رجوتني. أفما كان يجب عليك أن ترحم صاحبك مثلما رحمتك؟" وغضب سيده كثيرا, فسلمه إلى الجلادين, حتى يوفيه كل ما له عليه. وهكذا يفعل بكم أبي السماوي, إن لم يغفر كل واحد منكم لاخيه من كل قلبه

THE EPISTLE
Let your mercy, O LORD, be upon us. Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! (Psalm 33 <32>:22,1)
The reading from saint Paul's first letter to the Corinthians. (1 Corinthians 4:9-16.) Brethren, God has displayed us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; for we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, but we are dishonored! To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. And we grow weary from the work of our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; being slandered, we speak words of encouragement. We have become as the rubbish of the world, the scum of all things to this very day. I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I admonish you. For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Therefore I appeal to you, be imitators of me.

لتكن يا ربُّ رحمتُك علينا، ابتهجوا أيها الصديقون بالرب .
فصلٌ من رسالةِ القديسِ بولس الرسولِ الأولى إلى أهل كورنثس.
يا إخوة إنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَنا نَحنُ الرُّسُلَ أدنى النـاسِ مَنزِلَةً كالمَحكومِ علَيهِم بالمَوتِ عَلانيَةً، لأنَّنا صِرنا مَشهَدًا لِلعالَمِ، لِلمَلائِكَةِ والنـاسِ. نَحنُ حَمقى مِنْ أجلِ المَسيحِ وأنتُم عُقَلاءُ في المَسيحِ. نَحنُ ضُعَفاءُ وأنتُم أقوياءُ. أنتُم مُكرَّمونَ ونَحنُ مُحتَقَرونَ. ولا نَزالُ إلى هذِهِ السَّاعَةِ نُعاني الجُوعَ والعَطَشَ والعُرْيَ والضَرْبَ والتَشَرُّدَ، ونَتعَبُ في العَمَلِ بأيدينا. نَرُدُّ الشَّتيمةَ بالبَركَةِ، والاضطِهادَ بالصَّبْرِ، والافتِراءَ بالنُّصحِ. صِرْنا أشبَهَ ما يكونُ بِقَذارَةِ العالَمِ ونِفايَةِ كُلِّ شيءٍ. لا أكتُبُ هذا لأجعلَكُم تَخجَلونَ، بَلْ لأنصَحَكُم نَصيحَتي لأبنائي الأحبّاءِ. فلَوْ كانَ لكُم في المَسيحِ عَشرَةُ آلافِ مُرشِدٍ، فما لكُم آباءٌ كَثيرونَ، لأنِّي أنا الذي ولَدَكُم في المَسيحِ يَسوعَ بالبِشارَةِ التي حَمَلتُها إلَيكُم. فأُناشِدُكُم أنْ تَقتَدُوا بـي.
THE GOSPEL

The reading from the holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew. ( Matthew 17:14-23 )

At that time, a man came to Jesus, kneeling before him said, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly, for often he falls into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him." And Jesus answered, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear you? Bring him here to Me." And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him; and the boy was cured instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" Jesus said to them, "Because you have no faith. for truly, I say to you, if you have faith, even as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. This kind never comes out except by prayer and fasting." As they were traveling together through Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and he will rise on the third day."

فصلٌ شريفٌ من بشارةِ القديسِ متى
في ذلك الزمان، جاء إلَى يسوع رَجُلّ وسَجَدَ وقالَ لَه: «إرحمِ ا‏بني يا سيِّدي، لأنَّهُ يُصابُ بالصَّرَعِ ويتَألَّمُ ألمًا شديدًا. وكثيرًا ما يَقَعُ في النَّارِ وفي الماءِ. وجِئْتُ بِه إلى تلاميذِكَ، فلم يقَدِروا أنْ يَشفُوهُ». فأجابَ يَسوعُ: «أيُّها الجِيلُ غَيرُ المُؤمِنِ الفاسِدُ! إلى متى أبْقى معكُم؟ وإلى متى أحتَمِلُكُم؟ قَدِّموا الصَّبـيَّ إليَّ هُنا!» وا‏نتهَرَهُ يَسوعُ، فَخرَجَ الشَّيطانُ مِنَ الصَّبـيِّ، فشُفِـيَ في الحالِ. فا‏نفَرَدَ التَّلاميذُ بـيَسوعَ وسألُوهُ: «لِماذا عَجِزْنا نَحنُ عَنْ أنْ نَطرُدَهُ؟» فأجابَهُم: «لِقِلَّةِ إيمانِكُم! الحقَّ أقولُ لكُم: لو كانَ لكُم إيمانٌ بِمقدارِ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَل، لَقُلتُم لِهذا الجبَلِ: ا‏نتَقِلْ مِنْ هُنا إلى هُناكَ فَينتَقِلُ، ولَمَا عَجِزتُم عَنْ شَيءٍ. وهذا الجِنْسُ مِنَ الشَّياطينِ لا يُطرَدُ إلاَّ بالصَّلاةِ والصَّومِ. وكانَ التَّلاميذُ مُجتَمِعينَ في الجليلِ، فقالَ لهُم يَسوعُ: «سيُسلَّمُ ا‏بنُ الإنسانِ إلى أيدي النّاسِ، فيَقتُلونَهُ، وفي اليومِ الثّالِثِ يَقومُ مِنْ بَينِ الأمواتِ

From the heights thou didst descend, O compassionate One, and thou didst submit to the three day burial, that thou might deliver us from passions. Thou art our life and our resurrection, O Lord, glory to thee.

انحدرتَ من العلوّ ايها المتحنن, وقبلتَ الدفنَ ذا الثلاثةِ الأيامِ, لكي تُعْتِقَنا من الآلامِ, فيا حياتَنا وقيامَتَنا يا ربّ المجدُ لك.
TROPARION OF THE DORMITION, IN TONE ONE In giving birth, O Theotokos, you have retained your virginity, and in falling asleep you have not forsaken the world. You have passed to life, being the Mother of Life. Through your intercession you deliver our souls from death.

Neither death nor the tomb could hold the Theotokos. She is always ready to intercede for us, and she is our steady hope and protection. Since she is the Mother of life, Christ who dwelt in her ever-virgin womb lifted her up to life.

THE EPISTLE
Make vows to the LORD your God, and perform them; In Judah God is known; His name is great in Israel. The Reading from Saint Paul's first letter to the Corinthians Brethren, we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a skilled master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each builder take care how he builds on it. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one which is laid, that foundation is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it persists, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
الرسالة
انذروا وأوفوا للرب إلهِكم, اللهُ معروفٌ في أرضِ يهوذا. فصلٌ من رسالةِ القديسِ بولس الرسولِ الأولى إلى أهل كورنثس. يا إخوةُ, نحن شركاء في العملِ مع اللهِ, وأنتم حقلُ اللهِ وبناءُ اللهِ. وبقدر ما أوتيتُ من نعمةِ اللهِ, كباني ماهر, وضعتُ الأساسَ وآخر يبني عليه. فلينْتبه كلّ واحدٍ كيف يبني. فما من أحدٍ يستطيعُ أن يضعَ أساساً غيرَ الأساسِ الذي وضعه الله, أي يسوع المسيح. فكلّ من بنى على هذا الأساسِ بناءً من ذهبٍ أو فضةٍ أو حجارةٍ كريمةٍ أو خشبٍ أو قشٍ أو تبنٍ, فسيكون عمله بيّنا, ويومُ الربّ يعلنُه, لانّ النارَ في ذلك اليوم تكشفُه وتمتحنُ قيمةَ عملِ كلّ واحد. فمن بقي عملُه الذي بناه نالَ أجرَه, ومن احترقَ عملُه خسرَ أجرَه. أما هو فسيخلص, ولكن كمن ينجو من خلالِ النار. أَمَا تعلمون أنّكم هيكلُ الله, وأنّ روحَ اللهِ يسكنُ فيكم؟ فمن أفسدَ هيكلَ اللهِ أهلكه الله, لانّ هيكلَ اللهِ مقدسٌ, وهذا الهيكلُ هو أنتم.
THE GOSPEL
The reading from the Holy Gospel according to Saint Matthew(Matthew 14:22-34)
At that time, Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowds. And after He had dis­missed the crowds, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone, But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against it. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. But when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take heart, It is I; have no fear." And Peter answered Him saying, "Lord, if it is You, bid me to come to You on the water." Jesus said, "Come." So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the mighty wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me!" Jesus immediately reached out His hand and caught him, saying to him, "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind became calm. And those in the boat came and worshipped Him, saying, "Truly, You are the Son of God." When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.

فصلٌ شريفٌ من بشارةِ القديسِ متى في ذلك الزمان:أمر يسوع تلاميذه أن يركبوا القارب ويسبقوه إلى الشاطئ المقابل حتى يصرف الجموع. ولما صرفهم صعد إلى الجبل ليصلي في العزلة. وعندما جاء المساء كان هناك وحده. أما القارب فكان في وسط البحر وكانت الأمواج تلطمه, لان الريح كانت مخالفة له. وعند آخر الليل, جاء يسوع إلى تلاميذه ماشيا على البحر. فلما رآه تلاميذه ماشيا على البحر ارتعبوا وقالوا: "هذا شبح!" وصرخوا من شدة الخوف. فقال لهم يسوع في الحال: "ثقوا أنا هو, لا تخافوا!" فقال له بطرس: "إن كنت أنت هو, يا سيد, فمرني أن أجيء إليك على الماء." فأجابه يسوع: "تعال." فنزل بطرس من القارب ومشى على الماء آتيا إلى يسوع. ولكنه خاف عندما رأى شدة الريح فأخذ يغرق, فصرخ: "نجني, يا سيد!" فمد يسوع يده في الحال وأمسكه وقال له: "يا قليل الإيمان, لماذا شككت؟" ولما صعدا إلى القارب هدأت الريح. فسجد له الذين كانوا في القارب وقالوا: بالحقيقة أنت ابن الله!" وعبروا إلى بر جنيسارت

Brethren, I appeal to you by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same will. For it has been reported to me concerning you, my Brothers and Sisters, by those of Chloe's household, that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is that each of you says, "I belong to Paul," or "I belong to Apollos," or "I belong to Cephas," or "I belong to Christ." Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, so that no one can say that you were baptized in my name. Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized any other. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of reason, so that the cross of Christ night not be emptied of its power.

الربّ يؤتي العزةَ شعبَه, قدّموا للربّ يا أبناءَ الله, قدّموا للربّ مجداً وعزاً.
فصلٌ من رسالةِ القديسِ بولس الرسولِ الأولى إلى أهل كورنثس.
يا إخوة, أناشدُكم باسمِ ربّنا يسوع المسيح أن تكونوا جميعاً متفقين في الرأي وأنْ لا يكونَ بينكم خلافٌ, بل كونوا على وفاقٍ تام, لكم روحٌ واحدٌ وفكرٌ واحد. فقد أخبرني عنكم أيها الاخوة أهلُ بيتِ خلوة أن بينكم خلافاً, أعني أن كلّ واحدٍ منكم يقول "أنا مع بولس" و "أنا مع أبلوس" و "أنا مع بطرس" و "أنا مع المسيح." هل تجزّأ المسيح؟ هل بولس هو الذي صُلب من أجلكم؟ أو باسمِ بولس تعمّدتم؟ أحمدُ اللهَ أني لم أعمّدْ أحداً منكم سوى كريسبس وغايس, فليس لأحدٍ أن يقولَ إنكم باسمي تعمّدتم. بلى لقد عمّدت أيضا عائلةَ استفاناس. وما عدا هؤلاء فلا أذكرُ أني عمّدت أحدا. فالمسيحُ أرسلني لا لإعمّد, بل لأعلنَ البشارةَ غير معوّلٍ على حكمةِ الكلامِ لئلا يبطلَ صليبُ المسيح.
THE GOSPEL
The reading from the holy gospel according to Saint Matthew (Matthew 14:14‑22 )
At that time, As Jesus went ashore he saw a great throng; and he had compassion on them, and healed their sick. When it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, "This is a lonely place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves." Jesus said, "They need not go away; you give them something to eat." They said to him, "We have only five loaves here and two fish." And he said, "Bring them here to Me. "Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass; and taking the five loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children. Then he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.

في ذلك الزمان: لما نزل يسوع من القارب رأى جموعا كبيرة, فتحنّن عليهم وشفى مرضاهم. ولما كان المساء دنا منه تلاميذه وقالوا: "المكان مقفر وقد فات الوقت, فاصرف الجموع ليذهبوا إلى القرى فيشتروا لهم طعاما." فأجابهم يسوع: "لا حاجة بهم إلى الذهاب. أعطوهم أنتم ما يأكلون." فقالوا له: "ليس عندنا هنا غير خمسة أرغفة وسمكتين." فقال يسوع: "هاتوا ما عندكم." ثم أمر الجموع أن يقعدوا على العشب, وأخذ الأرغفة الخمسة والسمكتين, ورفع عينيه نحو السماء وبارك وكسر الأرغفة وأعطى تلاميذه, والتلاميذ أعطوا الجموع. فأكلوا كلهم حتى شبعوا, ورفعوا ما فضل من الكسر اثنتي عشرة قفة مملوءة. وكان الذين أكلوا نحو خمسة آلاف رجل ما عدا النساء والأولاد. وأمر تلاميذه أن يركبوا القارب ويسبقوه إلى الشاطئ المقابل حتى يصرف الجموع.

Ye brethren: We that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not himself ; but as it is written ,the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. For what so ever things were written aforetime were written for learning , that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: that you may with one mind and mouth glorify God , even the father of our Lord Jesus Christ . wherefore receive ye one another , as Christ also received us ,to the Glory of God.

يا اخوه يجب علينا نحن الاقوياء ان نحتمل وهن الضعفاء ولا نرضي انفسنا ,فليرض كل واحد منا قريبه للخير لاجل البنيان ,فان المسيح لم يرضي نفسه ولكن كما كتب تعييرات معيريك وقعت علي ,لان كل ما كتب من قبل انما كتب لتعليمنا ليكون لنا الرجاء بالصبر وبتعزيه الكتب ,وليعطيكم اله الصبر والتعزيه ان تكونوا متفقي الاراء فيما بينكم بحسب المسيح يسوع ,حتى انكم بنفس واحده وفم واحد تمجدون الله ابا ربنا يسوع المسيح ,من اجل ذلك فليتخذ بعضكم بعضا كما اتخذكم المسيح لمجد الله .
The Gospel
From St.Matthew(9:27-35)
At that time: When Jesus was passing by ,two blind men followed him, crying aloud and saying ,”have mercy on us ,Son of David .“when he entered the house ,the blind men came to him; and Jesus said to them ,”do you believe that I am able to do this?” they said to him,” Yes ,Lord “then Jesus Touched their eyes ,saying “According to your faith be it done to you .”and their eyes were opened .and Jesus sternly charged them ,”see that no one knows it .”but they went away and spread his fame through all that district. As they were going away ,behold ,dumb demoniac was brought to Jesus .and when the demon had been cast out ,the dumb man spoke ;and the crowds marveled ,saying ,”never was anything like this seen in Israel .”but the Pharisees said ,”he casts out demons by the prince of demons “and Jesus went about all the cities and villages ,teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom ,and healing every disease and every infirmity of the people .

في ذلك الزمان فيما يسوع مجتاز تبعه اعميان يصيحان ويقولان ارحمنا يا ابن داوود,فلما دخل البيت دنى اليه الاعميان فقال لهما يسوع هل تؤمنان اني اقدر ان افعل ذلك .فقالا له نعم يا رب حين اذن لمس اعينهما قائلا كايمانكما فليكن لكما .فانفتحت اعينهما .فانتهرهما يسوع قائلا انظرا لا يعلم احد. فلما خرجا شهراه في تلك الارض كلها.وبعد خروجهما قدموا اليه اخرس به شيطان .فلما اخرج الشيطان تكلم الاخرس .فتعجب الجموع قائلين لم يظهر قط مثل هذا في اسرائيل .اما الفريسيون فقالوا انه برئيس الشياطين يخرج الشياطين .وكان يسوع يطوف المدن كلها والقرى يعلم في مجامعهم ويكرز بشاره الملكوت ويشفي كل مرض وكل ضعف في الشعب.

TROPARION OF THE RESURRECTION IN THE FIFTH TONE Let us believers praise and worship the Word, coeternal with the Father and the Spirit, born of the Virgin for our salvation, for he took pleasure in ascending the cross in the flesh, to suffer death, and to raise the dead, by His glorious Resurrection.

The reading from saint's Paul second letter to Timothy (2 Timothy 2:1-10) Timothy, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And what you have heard from me through many witnesses, commit these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also. You must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one serving in the army entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hard-working farmer ought to have the first share of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer hardship as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

يا ولدي تيموثاوس، كُنْ قَوِيّا بِالنِّعمَةِ التي في المَسيحِ يَسوعَ، وسَلِّمْ ما سَمِعتَهُ مِنِّي بِحُضورِ كثيرٍ مِنَ الشُّهودِ وديعَةً إلى أُناس أُمناءَ يكونونَ أهلاً لأنْ يُعَلِّموا غَيرَهُم. شارِكْ في ا‏حتِمالِ الآلامِ كَجُندِيٍّ صالِـحٍ لِلمَسيحِ يَسوعَ. فالجُندِيُّ لا يَشغَلُ نَفسَهُ بأُمورِ الدُّنيا إذا أرادَ أنْ يُرضِيَ قائِدَهُ. والمُصارِعُ لا يَفوزُ بإِكليلِ النَّصرِ إلاَّ إذا صارَعَ حسَبَ الأُصولِ. والزّارعُ الذي يَتعَبُ يَجبُ أنْ يكونَ أوَّلَ مَنْ يَنالُ حِصَّتَهُ مِنَ الغَلَّةِ. إفهَمْ ما أقولُهُ لكَ، والرَّبُّ يَجعَلُكَ قادِرًا على فَهمِ كُلِّ شيءٍ. وا‏ذكُرْ يَسوعَ المَسيحَ الذي قامَ مِنْ بَينِ الأمواتِ وكانَ مِنْ نَسلِ داودَ، وهِيَ البِشارَةُ التي أُعلِنُها. وأُقاسي في سَبـيلِها الآلامَ حتى حَمَلتُ القُيودَ كالمُجرِمِ. ولكِنْ كلامُ اللهِ غَيرُ مُقَيَّدٍ. ولذلِكَ أحتَمِلُ كُلَّ شيءٍ في سبـيلِ المُختارينَ، حتى يَحصُلوا هُم أيضًا على الخَلاصِ الذي في المَسيحِ يَسوعَ معَ المَجدِ الأبدِيِّ
THE GOSPEL At that time, Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to his own city. And behold, they brought to him a paralytic lying on his bed; and when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, my Son, your sins are forgiven you." And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This Man is blaspheming" But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--he then said to the paralytic, "Rise, take up your bed, and go home." And he arose and went home. When the crowds saw it, they marveled and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

فصلٌ من بشارة القديس متى
في ذلك الزمان ركِبَ يَسوعُ القارِبَ وعَبَر البُحَيْرةَ راجِعًا إلى مدينتِهِ. فجاءَهُ بَعضُ النّاسِ بِكَسيحٍ مُلقًى على سَريرٍ. فلمّا رأى يَسوعُ إيمانَهُم قالَ للكَسيحِ: «تَشَجَّعْ يا ا‏بني، مَغْفورَةٌ لكَ خَطاياكَ». فقالَ بَعضُ مُعلِّمي الشَّريعةِ في أنفُسِهِم: «هذا الرَّجُلُ يُجدِّفُ!». وعرَفَ يَسوعُ أفكارَهُم، فقالَ: «لماذا تَظُنُّونَ السُّوءَ في قُلوبِكُم؟ أيُّما أسهَلُ؟ أنْ يُقالَ: مغفورَةٌ لكَ خَطاياكَ، أمْ أنْ يُقالَ: قُمْ وا‏مشِ؟ سأُريكُمْ أنَّ ا‏بنَ الإنسانِ لَه سُلطانٌ على الأرضِ ليَغفِرَ الخطايا». وقالَ لِلكسيح: «قُمْ وا‏حمِلْ سَريرَكَ وا‏ذهَبْ إلى بـيتِكَ». فقامَ الرَّجُلُ وذهَبَ إلى بَيتِه. فلمّا شاهَدَ النَّاسُ ما جرَى، خافوا ومَجَّدوا اللهَ الَّذي أعطى البشَرَ مِثلَ هذا السُّلطانِ.
