TROPARION OF THE RESURRECTION IN THE FIFTH TONE
Let us believers praise and worship the Word, coeternal with the Father and the Spirit, born of the Virgin for our salvation, for he took pleasure in ascending the cross in the flesh, to suffer death, and to raise the dead, by His glorious Resurrection. طروبارية القيامة على اللحن الخامس لنسبحْ نحن المؤمنين ونسجدْ للكلمة, المساوي للآبِ والروحِ في الأزليةِ وعدم الابتداء, المولودِ من العذراءِ لخلاصِنا, لأنه سُرّ أن يصعدَ بالجسدِ على الصليبِ ويحتملَ الموت, ويُنهضَ الموتى بقيامتِه المجيدة

O Lord, save thy people and bless thine inheritance, granting to thy faithful servants victory over their adversaries, and by the power of thy Cross protecting thy community.

TROPARION OF SAINT JAMES, IN THE FOURTH TONE
Ѕince, thou art a disciple of the lord, thou didst receive the gospel, O righteous one, and since thou art a martyr thou art never rejected, And since thou art a brother of the Lord, thou art privileged, and since Thou art high priest, it is thine to intercede. Wherefore, beseech thou Christ God save our souls.

KONTAKION OF THE CROSS, TONE 4
O Christ our God, uplifted on the Cross, by Your good will, bestow Your bounties upon the new people of Your name; and by Your might make glad those who lawfully govern, granting to them victory over all the adversaries, that they may have Your alli­ance, a weapon of peace and a victory invincible.
قنداق الصليب على اللحن الرابع
يا من ارتفعتَ على الصليبِ طوعاً, أيها المسيحُ الإلهُ, امنحْ رأفتَك لشعبِك الجديد المُسمى بك. وفرّحْ بقدرتِك عبيدَك المؤمنين مانحاً إياهم الغلبةَ على الشرير. ولتكُنْ لهم نصرتُك سلاحاً للسلام, وظفراً لا يُقهر.

THE EPISTLE
O Lord, how manifold, are Your works In wisdom You have made them all: (Ps.103<102>:24)Blessthe Lord, O my soul! (Ps. 103<102>:1) The Reading from Saint Paul's letter to the Galatians (Galatians 2:16-20) Brethren, You know that a man is not reckoned as righteous by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, and we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, that we might be reckoned as righteous by faith in Christ and not by doing the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be reckoned as righteous. But if, in our effort to be reckoned as righteous by Christ, we ourselves have been found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? Certainly not! For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law died to the law so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
الرسالة
ما أعظمَ أعمالَك يا رب. كلّها بحكمةٍ صنعت. باركي يا نفسي الرب. فصلٌ من رسالةِ القديسِ بولس الرسول إلى أهل غلاطية
يا اخوة, نحن نعلمُ أنّ الإنسانَ لا يُعدّ باراً بالعملِ بأحكامِ الشريعة, بل بالإيمانِ بيسوع المسيح. ولذلك آمنا بيسوع المسيح لنُعدّ أبراراً بالإيمانِ بالمسيح, لا بالعملِ بأحكامِ الشريعة. فالإنسان لا يُعدّ باراً لعملِه بأحكام الشريعة. فإنْ كنّا نلتمس البرّ بالمسيح وُجدنا أيضا من الخاطئين, فهل يعني هذا أن المسيح يعمل للخطيئة؟ حاشَ له! ولكني إذا عُدت إلى بناء ما هدمته, جعلت من نفسي مخالفاً للشريعة, لأني بالشريعة متّ عن الشريعة لاحيا لله. مع المسيح صُلبتُ, فما أنا أحيا بعد, بل المسيح يحيا فيّ. وإذا كنت أحيا الآن في الجسد, فحياتي هي في الإيمان بابن الله الذي أحبّني وضحّى بنفسِه من أجلي.
THE GOSPEL
The reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark The Lord said, "If any man would come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." And He said to them, "Truly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power."
الإنجيل
قال الرب: "من أراد أن يتبعني, فلينكر نفسه ويحمل صليبه ويتبعني. لان الذي يريد أن يخلّص حياته يخسرها, أما الذي يخسر حياته في سبيلي وسبيل البشارة فإنّه يخلّصها. فماذا ينفع الإنسان لو ربح العالم كله وخسر نفسه؟ وبماذا يفدي الإنسان نفسه؟ لانّ من يستحي بي وبكلامي في هذا الجيل الفاسق الشرير يستحي به ابن الإنسان متى جاء في مجد أبيه مع الملائكة الأطهار. وقال لهم: "الحقّ أقول لكم: في جملة الحاضرين هنا من لا يذوقون الموت, حتى يشاهدوا مجيء ملكوت الله في مجد عظيم."
